Saw this new spinner on the TW website. The new Slammer is advertised as being a spinner for big small mouth bass in big water.                 It looks good. A thicker, hand tied bucktail, with flashoubou trailing in the center.  The bucktail skirt is thicker to give a larger profile.Hand painted blades, and bodies and a good quality VMC Barbarian hook.        They've taken the Aglia and hot rodded it to make this spinner with better components, and it comes in 14 colors. Should work well for LM bass also. If interested, you can check them out on the TW website.

Good bait, I've been making a very similar one for LMB for a while. The #4 is the ticket.

I bought a few. They look good but then all Mepps look good.

I hope to try mine out on the Susquehanna on Thursday.

I bought some earlier this year direct from mepps but havent used them yet.  I did notice BPS had better pricing than mepps direct after I ordered

I tired one tonight in a pond. I do not like fishing spinners in this pond because of cover but I wanted to try them. I had a hit on the first cast. A dink on the second cast. A 3.5 on the third cast. I thought I was on a roll. Nothing on the next 5 or 6 casts.

It should be great on the river.

Matt Stefan has a you tube channel. He posted a video about this bait two or three weeks ago. Fishing a river in Wisconsin he caught a bunch of Pike and some really nice SMB on it.

I hope to get some and try them out.

If you go to http://mepps .com they show they have them in 14 colors. They will be more expensive to order them from Mepps.

It has the same comet blade which has always been a producer. Just excellent marketing on their part to make Mepps relevant again. I doubt that fished side by side with a yellow dot black fury mepps it would significantly outfish it.

That tail does give it a slightly different look. I don't know if the fish will notice but I did.
