This little pond is great for numbers, but man it's getting weird out there.  A couple of years ago I find a statue of an angel, and today I find this.  My wife asked me if I touched it and I told her "NO".  I turned around and walked back off of the point.

BTW, I managed to catch 7 small bass with a weightless Yum Dinger.  They were where the coontail met the water willows.

Inti huatana, nothing to be concerned with (unless you are a sacrificial llama)...

Rock stacking is a thing people seem to like to do for some reason.

My earliest recollection of seeing that is probably 20 years ago.  There were stacks of various heights at random places along the Canadian highway between Vermillion Bay and Red Lake.  For years, I thought maybe it was something symbolic for First Nation people.    Apparently,  it's just something people do at random, sometimes out of the way places.  Sort of cool, I guess.  Like Kilroy.  People who see it, notice and wonder about who was there before them; without the more permanent,  vandalism of something like graffiti.

3 or 4 rocks stacked on top of each other with flat rocks going around it, leaned up against it.

If it'd keep people away from my fav ponds I'd do it too.
