Just a small update on my wife's condition. She has been pretty dang sick the last 4 days with a bacterial infection, so much so that she couldn't even talk to me on the phone. This afternoon, I got what I would call some good news, in that the meds have begun to work, and she is feeling Much better. She is hoping to be able to begin to stand, and walk with her walker soon. My Son is coming up on Weds, to install her new TV, so we will celebrate Thanksgiving then in a small way. 

I feel so relieved that she will be better, to continue the fight against that %$#& cancer.

Once again Thank all of  you for the Prayers and well wishes, it does help.

Well, after 7 months, and some ups and downs, Dee is finally coming home tomorrow. Still has the spinal cancer, and will need a bunch of care. She went through some heavy physical therapy the past 2 weeks, and her techs and doctor deemed that it was o.k. for her to return home. It's been a busy few days to say the least.

Great news.

Dee will need all of you for a while.  Especially in the beginning. 

Lynn and I are keeping you both in our thoughts.  Moving forward we hope everyday is a Win !

Well, today was certainly a Busy day. I can't believe all the stuff she accumulated over the last 7 months. We have stuff scattered all over the house. But it's a joy to have her home.

Once again, thanks to all of you for your involvement, Dee and I are very grateful.

Been awhile, so here is the latest update on Dee's progress.

She with the help of her PT's has gotten much more mobile, she no longer uses her walker, but she does rely on her light weight rolator  wheeled walker, which gets around with pretty dang well. She is to the point where she does short walks w/o any assistance, but either me or my Son is near by.

She also fixes her own meals, washes clothes and dishes form to time. We also had grab bars installed in our shower, and she can now take showers all by herself, which she really likes.

Cancer  is still there, and she does experience some real pain now and then. Oh, and last week my Son took Dee and his wife out to eat a nice restaurant, she had a great time.

Lastly,  Thanks to all the BR members for their support, and well wishes, and Prayers.
