looking45 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 That would be illegal in California, three hook limit Quote
Bartableman7 Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 Interesting...what defines that? Number of shanks or number of actual hooks? Probably shanks. I'd just remove the middle treble if it is shanks. Quote
Super User king fisher Posted July 19, 2022 Super User Posted July 19, 2022 I would get hooked, just trying to tie that on my line. 1 3 Quote

Big Rick Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 If I put that lure where I normally put my buzz baits I wouldn't get one handle crank before it would be snagged on wood. 2 Quote

ironbjorn Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 That defeats the entire purpose of a buzzbait. Might as well put trebles on a frog too. Quote

You could fish that in open water, along a sea wall, rip rap shoreline, down a bank, against a dock or walkway not every lake has weeds and I'm pretty sure the purpose of the lure is to catch fish Quote
Super User gim Posted July 19, 2022 Super User Posted July 19, 2022 Take the blade off and you got yourself a snagger for paddlefish. 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted July 19, 2022 Super User Posted July 19, 2022 I was wondering how you got that offset worm-hook attached as a trailer then I noticed this is a barbless bait . Quote
PotatoLake Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Pretty sure that would be illegal in Missouri too. Quote
Bartableman7 Posted July 20, 2022 Author Posted July 20, 2022 Except in a tournament...all my hooks and lures are barbless. Just a thing for me. Quote
The Bassman Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 I'll bet the OP's been smiling since he started this thread. No one would be playing the game if it was 4/1. Quote

GRiver Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Can you image trying to get that unhooked from a fish…. Dangerous for fish and fisherman or fisherwoman to be politically correct. Quote
