So let’s pretend that reel manufacturers read this forum and specifically, this post.  If you could share what handle length(s) you like and knob styles that you would choose what would they be?

Spinning reels: Stock Daiwa Handle and T knob are just fine.

95 mm casting and bring back the knob from the OG Zillion!

100mm casting on any cranking and flippin-pitching-punching reels. Same knob.  No hypalon foam please.

I think skinny thin grips are not conducive to larger adult size digits.  Contoured and meaty allow a relaxed grip.  That’s my two cents.

Casting: 105mm paddle handles on all.

Spinning: Don't really care. I've been fine with every stock handle I've bought. Besides, with the advent of BFS, spinning is just for crappie fishing anyhow. ?

Varies by reel type, size, how, with what, and for what I'm fishing, but usually I like a longer handle and a larger knob most of the time.

The mfg's can keep doing what they're doing, I'll fix my reels where I want them.  Tee-knobs and flat paddles are my least favorite.

I'd rather remove a handle that's not even close than one that began by costing more and isn't close, like this 2-ounces of rubber Shimano 5000 knob.

Low-geared spinning reel, which you have to go to Japan to buy, anyway.

I like counter-balanced handles on light spinning reels, and want the manufacturers to stay out of that, too.

Good lightweight power knobs, the handle length matches the gear ratio.  @T-Billy's 105 mm is for 8x gears.

I like really large handle knobs because 95% of the time I'm fishing moving baits. Really large knobs actually make your handle feel like it's longer from the added width. It's fun to play around with different combinations of knobs, handle lengths, and gear ratios so I don't  are what they come with from the manufacturer.
