I very much appreciete this forum, and here is just one reason why... I would be very interested in hearing why everyone else here loves and continues to visit this great site!

- My personality type is what is known to be a people pleaser. I HATE conflict. In fact, it has kept me from enjoying a lot of things in life such as (but not limited to) asking questions in fear of being called stupid, standing up for myself instead of just going with the grain, etc... yet, I have felt embodied to do both of those things here so far and I am appreciative for that... I don't post on Facebook, I don't post on whatever else, but I post on here for these exact reasons... I have questions, I have opinions, and I feel like everyone here has given me, personally, the leeway to just be myself thus far and let 'em fly - as long as they are respectful to the OP and other participants of course - This is something that I hope this forum never loses site of!

I love this site because there’s always good discussion going on. I’m on two other forums, one a general fishing forum with a bass section, and one a bass boat forum with occasional fishing talk. On both, there could be days between any real solid bass fishing discussion. Whether it’s gear, techniques, etc.

It’s all here, all the time. And if I’m not fishing I want to be talking about It.

I especially love looking at people's gear and tackle.

The sheer amount of information from

people who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the sport. I have learned so much from BassResource over the years. No matter your skill

level, there is so much to learn here. They say 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish. Due in part to BassResource, I’m confident I’m in that 10% class.

I’ve learned so much from here. I totally believe I catch more fish because of the knowledge I’ve collected from here.

Why I love BassResource.com?

The members ?

We have stepped on each other's toes, bumped elbows, & bruises egos but at the end of the day we respected each other.

Locally I've been considered by many as a very good bass fisherman.

After joining BassResource I've come to realize that the locals don't know anything about bass fishing.

I've learned a lot more here than I tell. Lol

Bass Resource is The Only forum (of any kind) that I belong to.

All others I've 'tried' Pale in comparison; in every way.

However beyond All the knowledge & experience, past all the resources offered

and besides the fact that THIS is oldest and largest independent bass fishing site in the world,

there's the people.

The people make this place what it is, Top to Bottom.

From the moderation team to the oldest members right down to the newest,

just the best folks around.

Over the years here, I've learned, I've laughed and I've cried.

Membership with Bass Resource has enabled and help me to reach

fishing Goals & Dreams, I'm almost certain I'd have not realized with out it.

It just doesn't get any better.

It’s the sharing of experiences, knowledge and opinions that keep me coming back.

We can get a little testy at times and some will lose patience with others but that’s what makes it what it is.

It’s like a family sitting around the dinner table talking to, over and with each other.
We may not always agree but the respect is never questioned

I haven't been a member here very long, but what I appreciate is the people, their opinions and the amount of subjects and feedback.

I've read some other forums, but it got boring because of the limited amount of subjects posted and the limited feedback when there was.

I like the fact that on here there are new subjects daily, and the people keep coming back frequently to offer their feedback. I have learned some new things, had some good conversations, and seen a bunch of people supporting each others shared interests.

I’m just here for all the “ how to fish a jackhammer” threads ?

I prefer the "what's the best rod for a chatterbait" threads, but yeah... :)

I’ve noticed that if I try and copy what someone tells me to do here on the forum exactly, it often won’t work as well as I expect it to. But, if I use their advice as a starting point, and then apply my own style to it, I stand better odds of doing better

Thats really the way it should be.

When you PM’d me awhile back about how I fish the UV Speed Worm you replied that you “did good” with it.

When you play with new and different lures and incorporate them in your rotation of choices to your specific waters and style…ie depth, rigging, line size, cover etc. they will be unique to you, then your success rate can only go up, no matter what you throw.

I like the amount of activity on this forum. I’ve been on multiple forums (motorcycles, photography, watches etc) and I’ve never been on a forum that has this volume of activity.

I like to follow posts just to hear other people’s point of view.

It's one of the few, or maybe only internet forums (of any kind) where peoples panties don't get in a wad when someone has a different opinion.  I like to think we all laugh at ourselves, and each other instead of getting mad.

I also want to know what kind of line to use:wink7:

The wealth of fishing knowledge shared on this site is what keeps me coming back. It truly is the best Resource for Bass fisherman & fisherwoman. You named it right Glenn.
