I have the Curado 200 K and been looking at the Curado 150 MGL.

I notice there's an ounce of weight difference from the 2 with the MGL being lighter.

Is there an advantage of getting the 150 MGL over thr 200 K?

I have 1 200 and 2 150's.  I'd say it's personal preference on what feels the best.  To me the weight difference is not very noticeable, the physical size is more so for me.  The 200 is bigger and not as low profile but still very ergonomic.  The 200 holds more line if that's an consideration.  Both are awesome reels.

The 150 mgl is a smaller profile, lighter, current model and throws lighter lures easier. I have three and couldn’t be happier with them.  It’s not a picky reel to setup either.

I have a 200k and a 70mgl but not the 150. That being said, if line capacity is not an issue, I would buy the 150 in a heartbeat.

To me the 150 MGL is like the Tatula CT and the 200k is like the original Tatula, if that makes sense. The 150 MGL feels smaller and is easier to palm. I can't tell the difference in weight but it feels more comfortable to me.

I have both of those. They are both excellent reels and I can't say I prefer one over the other. But I do like my Curado DC slightly more than those reels.

I have 1-200, and 2-150's (one is new and unfished with).  both reels are a joy to fish with.  sometimes I toss a lure far and accurate I have to look down at my hands to see if it was a 200 or a 150 that got it done.  if I'm not palming them, I am not sure I could tell the difference really if everything else was equal.

I have a buddy that will not try one because he thinks the color green of the 150 is not attractive.  :)

if I had to guess, I feel the 150 gives me more confidence to go for that far shot between the sticks.  I backlashed mine bad just two days ago, because I was firing for the shady spot under a try-hull boat.  I winged it hard and didn't see a branch hanging in front of my face and center punched the leaves.  it backlashed HARD.  I rolled it up and went home.  hahah.  user error.  I thought I had that cast in the bag.

Been there! I had that happen once. You know you're in trouble when you HEAR the backlash occur!! I remember looking down and thinking "Nope!!"
