PennBass Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Moving to NYC and want to buy a GLoomis Escape Travel rod (spinning or casting both work) so I can carry one on the subways and keep my love of fishing alive in the city. Open to buy any spinning or casting models in good condition!
Super User Deleted account Posted July 15, 2022 Super User Posted July 15, 2022 I would just get a 2 piece rod instead. There is going to be a quiz as to the difference between the BMT, IRT, and IND... 1
JS8588 Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Buy a TFO Traveler. Easier to find and you'll be just as well off.

Super User ATA Posted July 17, 2022 Super User Posted July 17, 2022 I bought one it was 700 plus maybe 800. I really like it. as you expect from paying this much, It doesn't feel 3 pcs rod. And it is light, I mean it very light. Great choice and I wish you find one. I got the spinning to pair it with my Shimano Stella 22 fk and I love it, Even when I dont travel I grab it and use it time to time specially when I have long walk or hike to get to lake.
thunderblack Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I have a ML Escape in spinning available. Brand new but no longer have the tube.

Open to buy any spinning or casting models in good condition! i looked at those quickly and the cost buckled me mentally. i rallied and looked at MegaBass and bought a Triza model. the Dragoon. i just bought my airline tix for oklahoma Striper fishing and that thing will be tucked into the overhead bin. i am also taking it to the Amazon River to pester peacocks. The Triza is built on a triangle principle. apparently each of the single piece of 3 are constructed from a different blank. each section is developed to handle the work needed being in that section. the Dragoon also had two tips. one moderate and one fast, so it can do more multiple applications. half the money, and the rods are stunning. in my front yard, it wings a practice plug really well. sorry, just a thought.
