I’ve got the audio on my Bluetooth. I just drove from one job to another and taku fought the same 3 lb smallie the whole drive hahahah.

I don’t know why they reel them in so slow

I'd rather get a root canal than watch someone d-shot, but I do like fishing up that way a lot. If they had a longer season, I'd consider retiring there.

Looks like there will be 60 bags 20lbs and over

last week 28 lbs won a one day tourney with over 100 boats

Fishing the St Lawrence had to be one of the most memorable times fishing. Still to this day I have never seen water so clear or smallmouth so big. Pretty impressive what they are doing up there this week.

To me, it makes for boring TV. At least everyone isn't staring into their traffic cones in his event. I'd rather see them have an event somewhere else or later in the year when a majority of the fish aren't spawning.

The only thing worse than drop shotting is watching someone else doing it.

They are throwing a variety of things if you watch. Hair jig, tube, jerkbait, etc

zaldain got a monster bag today over 27 lbs, and so did Lehew

I like seeing big smallmouth and their fight more than how it was caught. I've watched decades of tourneys where shallow lm were about the only thing going. Pitching / flipping / skipping in shallow water, although appealing to watch, gets kinda boring to me....

They are catching the smallies pretty shallow too

it appears the forward facing sonar is second to the anglers eyeballs this week

blaylock is working this bed fish right now

Every single angler , every single day catches a limit . Thats unreal . I'd rather watch a tougher tourney .

Most of those fish would be the smallie of a lifetime for me. I’d love to fish there, but watching others take 5 minutes to land a fish is too slow for me to enjoy. I loved seeing Hackney in the mix.

I’m more of a Pujols kind of fan than an Ichiro fan.

The top two anglers had 4 limits each averaging over 5lbs apiece.  With smallmouth.  It also looks like every single angler caught a limit every day.  This might not make for good tourney drama, but it is pretty well unparalleled as a fishery.

Does anyone know why the Elites don’t have an AOY event anymore in September?
