The fact that I can use a little 3/0 RB hook with a 9” ribbontail worm is just awesome. Soft, decently durable. I bought two more packs today just cuz. If I throw those right now in any lake, I will catch fish. The Mag II is my choice for the best 9" worm. Best LM worm color? Junebug/Red. 1 Quote
flatcreek Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Zoom trick worm . When they short strike I trim them down with scissors. Quote

Tom I write 6" ribbontail on the packaging before I toss the worms. Actually, here is your real answer. Due to the refractive index of water, objects underwater appear 33% larger. So 9" is actually 12". Why, then, does a fish see a 12" worm as a 6"? This is the most important part. The answer is.... it's because they are stupid and failed math. 1 Quote

cchapraps Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 roboworm in the junebug color is my bread and butter for sure! Quote
MAN Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 I use Zoom Trick Worms because they are the most easily available in my area. But any of the above mentioned straight tail worms will work just as good. 1 Quote
rgasr63 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 I have used a Trick Worm for several decades now. As long as they make them I will be a customer for it. Quote
TriStateBassin106 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Culprit 6 in grape shad. Thing catches them almost everywhere. 2 Quote

Hytekrednek Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 its not 6'', but close. The Creme Devil's Tongue. The tail floats up from the bottom, getting more attention and is easier to be inhaled. It is also great for drop shot rigs. Quote
Cbump Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Senko in baby bass, June bug, green pumpkin, or natural Shad. Weightless. Sometimes a UV Speed Worm. Not sure what length those are though. I don’t t-rig anything else in that size. It’s either smaller creature or big 10”+ worms. Quote
Sphynx Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Zoom, I like them mostly because anywhere I go in the country I can find either trick worms or finesse worms in some sort of black, and either GP or Watermelon, hell they even sell those things at a few truck stops. Failing that my favorite straight tail worm is the PlasmaTail by BioSpawn, they come in a few different colors I like, but the Junebug Chartreuse Tail are winners for my money. Quote
