While I believe there is plenty of intelligent life out there, I'm beginning to think that civilizations die off before they develop the ability for interstellar travel. I want a Darpa project working on quantum gravity and doing the maths necessary to rectify the standard model with quantum mechanics. They need money and some alone time because string theory is dead.
