More bass fishing on the NY side of the Delaware River. Lakes around there have dinosaurs in em. This lake is spring fed so water temp stays relatively cool but the 55 degree temps with rain and wind over father's day weekend helped cool things off also. What is everyone else using as water temps rise?

You said as water temps rise as if it's spring. Water is crazy hot at this point.

Nice, I cut my teeth in Sullivan county and thereabouts many many moons ago.

might be time for another slice...  love that part of NY, no action in the lakes? - hit the river.

When water gets real hot, hunt the obvious spots, shade, moving water and vegetation, I like worms in the summer, Zoom Ol' Monster etc work well, you'd be surprised at the size of fish that will munch a 10" worm, if the big stuff isn't working, don't be afraid to go to the complete opposite end of things and start hitting them with ned rigs and finesse shakeyhead offerings...if you get out real early or just about sundown, you can have a pile of fun on topwaters too.

Yeah, folks had a place in Jeffersonville when we were kids, my native brookie tiny creek force is strong, and I would fish every lake, pond, and puddle up that way hard for anything that would bite. Later on would drive up from NYC nearly every week with the then girlfriend near every week. The fishing is just as good if not better in LI, and NJ near the city, but the Catskills are more appealing for some reason. We've been down near DC now for a while, so don't get up there much.

I live in Sullivan County, just a few miles from reservoirs and of course the Upper Delaware.

The water surface temp on Rio was 76.8* yesterday but I was still able to convince a good amount to take my offerings.

On my buddy’s private lake, early morning when the bluegill are sipping bugs on the surface, the biguns are close by. Got this one on a MG Popmax (the smaller one). Jumped 3 times and I dropped the rod tip, kept the line tight and boated her pretty easy peasy. On a medium spinner with 15 lb straight braid. 5.9 lbs on the scale. My 2nd biggest bass.

Great fish. Looks like a perfect topwater day there.

It was absolute glass. Indeed perfect for subtle topwaters like the MG popper. My buddy was throwing a Whopper Plopper 90 and not getting a single bite. Switched to Super Spook Jr and immediately got bit.
