Ginseng as well. There’s some you can buy in stores but it does not compare to what you can get in a good authentic Korean restaurant. If it is Korean made, it typically knocks my socks off. Not opposed to dark roasts Most people don't like Cajun coffee because they say it to strong & bitter. When they make it the use the same amount as their coffee. I use an 1/8 cup measuring scoop in a 4 cup coffee pot but I fill the pot to the brim. So it's probably 5 cups. 1 1 Quote

That's weak coffee, pal - I use a 1/4 cup scoop, little over 2 scoops for a 12 cup pot 1 Quote

In making a 2oz coffee I used 1/8 cup of grounds, but to be fair I make each coffee independently and regularly drink them as a cappuccino with 2 oz of milk as well. Quote
Skunkmaster-k Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 I like cowboy coffee . Shovel coffee grounds in the stainless pot , add water and bring to a boil. Yowsahs ! Just got to remember not to drink that last 1/4 of an inch off the bottom. 1 3 Quote

Super User TOXIC Posted July 7, 2022 Super User Posted July 7, 2022 This is about tea stay on topic?. Things I learned about sweet tea when I lived in Florida. 1. You can’t buy pre bottled sweet tea. It has to be homemade. 2. If it doesn’t leave a sugar ring around your lips, it’s not sweet enough. 3. Sweet tea recipes are family secrets. 4. There’s no way you can add enough sugar to regular tea to make it sweet tea. ?? 2 Quote

Fallser Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 I'm not much of a tea drinker. I always enjoyed sweet tea when I was in college in NW Tennessee. Today the only sweet tea I drink is Firefly, on the rocks. Coffee, I have to drink decaffeinated for medical reasons. I started grinding my own beans, and mixing my own blend. Main ingredients are Decaf Expresso, Dark French Roast and Italian Roast, mixed with some Eight O'Clock coffee beans. I don't really measure the beans, I just fill my grinder. Usually I make 8 to 10 cups according to the carafe. That works out to two cups of coffee for me. I don't want to be able to see through my coffee. Quote
