I've seen a couple youtube videos about this and it has intrigued me.

I have one on order, seems everywhere these are out of stock.

Also read reviews the stock size 8 treble hooks are too small and missed fish.

I'm wondering if any of you who own this, have you upsized your treble? Has the action changed much?

I was thinking of using size 6 thin wire trebles.

I lost fish too, but it was not the bait/hooks - it was my rod. Switching to medium-light rod made all of the difference.

Ah ok, cool! This lure caught my attention for a BFS type lure. I do have a med/light, light and , ul casting rods I can figure which will work best with the Jackall Riser

size eight hooks require a gentle hand, light line, and a soft rod, they usually don't get enough meat for leaning back on them. Most lures that take a #8 hook are usually too small for a #6 though. Do they even make a #7? I used to throw a lot of small baits, but don't much anymore.
