Looking for a light BFS casting rod. How do these BFS Casting rods compare? is there one that is a standout comapred to the others in terms of sensitivity and use.

Megabass P5 F0-Siglett

JDM Shimano Poison Adrena 163ML

Phenix Feather 7'1" Light

Dobyns Sierra Ultra Finesse Casting Series 6'5" Light | SUF 650C?

I can only speak to the Phenix and Dobyns.

IMO Dobyns to me is not suitable to bass fishing, more of a trout action. Tip folds when in contact with most any cover. Is overloaded casting a 1/5 oz Ned.

Phenix Feather Light is excellent. Have thrown 1/16th oz Marabou hair jigs as well as 1/5 oz Neds, and many lures in between. Can pull through lighter cover when needed (isn't that where bass live?). Have caught up to 5.7 lb largemouth.

A 1/10 oz Ned head and TRD is like 1/4 oz total weight. This would be like 3/8 oz total weight which is different than, say, a 3/8 spinnerbait or chatterbait which only counts the head weight, but 3/8 nonetheless. Kind of heavy for finesse to begin with.

Another vote for the Phenix Feather L and or ML. Outstanding rods for finesse baitcasting. I've caught bass over 5#, catfish over 8#, carp over 13#, musky up to 38" on them. All on 6# Trilene XT. They're a ton of fun to fish with, and everything eats a TRD Bug.

If you end up wanting a Phenix 7'1" light I have one I might want to sell. PM me.

I only have the phenix.  not entirely sure BFS fishing is my jam, but it's is fun indeed when any substantial bass grabs the bait.  this weekend I threw a 1/4 oz topwater on it and the bait felt so heavy.  not an ideal application, but it didn't disappoint in the fun-department.

the Phenix is a nice stick.  ethereal for sure.

This isn’t BFS to me. I do this on a ML?
