There is a big boulder that sticks out of the water and there were bass and chain pickerel hiding there 4 minutes ago, Gregorym38 said: Quote
Super User scaleface Posted July 3, 2022 Super User Posted July 3, 2022 With all the islands and point there should be a lot of open water structure to fish . I'd spend a lot of time checking that out . Quote

Look for humps, bars and flats near or surrounded by deeper water...that's where I'd start. 1 Quote

Where you caught your bass is a choke point with lots of rocky structure above the surface. The lake looks like a natural Smallmouth then LMB. Tom Quote

Its not a very public lake Entirely possible - they've only mapped contours for about 42,000 lakes around the world Considering Minnesota alone has 15,000 - there's still a lot of water missing in their charts. Just within 10 miles of me, there's 15 named lakes that haven't been charted yet. Quote

Super User GaryH Posted July 4, 2022 Super User Posted July 4, 2022 Are you shore fishing or boat? If boat and if you have electronics map the lake out and I’m sure you’ll receive plenty of good advice. otherwise with the info giving its like closing our eyes and throwing at a dart board. Quote
