Solar Bat has had them for at least a few years. I'm still wearing Onos, but I will probably get Solar Bat next. I know several who have them and are extremely happy with them. https://www.solarbat.com/products/floating-bat-1 2 Quote

Are they meant just for angler that palm the reel when casting? A normal cast would have you holding the blank. Yeah I don’t get it either, just like on the old red Cumara..I hate the nubs for grips..even my gen 1 Zodias rods I have were too short for me so I modified them. Quote

Super User NorthernBasser Posted July 21, 2022 Super User Posted July 21, 2022 For the $99.99 price point, the new Tatula XT rods look like they could be a winner. 2 Quote
JS8588 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 The new Abu Revo spinning reels look interesting. Definitely a take on the MQ frame from Daiwa but sub $200. Hmm... Quote

Apparently Daiwa and Shimano both had the same idea since Shimano redid the SLX rods (also at the $99 price point). If those SLX combos are still a thing, Daiwa should sell a Tatula combo. Something like a Tatula CT and a Tatula XT for $175 or $200. 1 Quote
