Thanks to the bait monkey reminding me about the TW July 4th sale, I picked up a 7’3”H Daiwa Rebellion for mainly heavier jigs and flippin. What do y’all think of the Rebellions? Are they better than the Tat Elites?

I have a 7ft Medium spinning  and 7'3 MH glass Rebellion.

The 7M spin is used for 1/4oz free rigged plastics exclusively.

The 7'3 MH glass is my 1/2oz jackhammer rod this year.

Both are wonderul rods that I would gladly purchase again. No experience with your specific model but I believe the lineup is a sleeper.

I own the 7’4 H Glass and it’s amazing. I think the Rebellion line compares nicely to the BLX line which is $400. You don’t get titanium SIC guides, but the x45 wrap and fit and finish are great.

Daiwa just needs to reboot the Tatula Elite line with the new AGS trimmings and I’ll be super intrigued.

I wanted higher end two piece casting and spinning set ups. Bought both the 6'8 ML-F spinning and 6'10 MH-MF this spring. Unfortunately due to a recent back injury haven't been out much, but I did mange to catch bass on both set ups and I am a very happy camper.

Both rods are light, sensitive, comfortable with great actions. The two piece models fit together great and don't come apart until you want them to. You would never know it's a two piece. Balance is fantastic and the action is exactly as described. The rod loads well and keeps the fish pinned very well.

I looked very hard at zodias, expride, levante, etc, even passed on the rebellion a few times. Then a sales guy sold me and I took the leap. No regrets at all, would highly recommend them both.

I don't think Daiwa is part of the %15 off TW sale

Discount won't show until you place your order/get confirmation email.
