here in the south we have big old 50lb flatheads that will eat your lunch if you hook one cranking or with a big jig

We have those and blues where I grew up in southeastern Ohio. They do love jigs,  that's for sure.

I like to throw baits that not everyone has, if a fish sees 15 Kvd 1.5s a day

Fortunately, I rarely run into any of that . . .

consider yourself lucky on a Tuesday night 3 fish night or every summer Tuesday I can sit on my dock and watch boat after boat pull in the mouth of my cove and go down every dock and 90% of the time throw a kvd 1.5 or spinnerbait around every dock every once and a while a jig witch doesent make sense to me if i had a boat I would be finding some offshore structure during the hot months

I’m wierd a strike king Kvd1.5 has been the most sold crank in the world the past couple years telling me that everyone is knowing them, while they do work I like to throw baits that not everyone has, if a fish sees 15 Kvd 1.5s a day and then sees a bx brat fast fighter wobble or a little Jhon’s super tight wobble on my mind it would be more apt to catch fish

There is a second option that must be considered if thinking along these lines...perhaps the KVD 1.5 sells better because it is more effective, you know, which came first the chicken or the egg kinda thing? For my part I don't know that it makes as much a difference as we like to believe MOST of the time...there's always that weird little incident that you go out and slay on a Crush 50X, and you can't seem to buy a bite on Competitor A, B, C etc's crank, but unless we're running multiple cranks simultaneously by the same fish at the same distance at the same time, it's all unscientific guesswork anyway.

No doubt ~

And I never take it for granted.

However, the lack of population up in this neck of the woods may have something to do with the climate.  While it seems longer at times, 5-6 months of the year we are enduring hard water, a simply ridiculous amount of snow and some bone chilling temps well below zero.  Each spring, I always feel like I've earned any & all success on the water I might have.

btw, if you haven't shoveled 3 feet of heavy wet snow off your roof,

you're really missing out.

Anyone use the H20 Xpress square bills?

I'm wondering what the difference is in the CRM and the SPCRM?

The h20 squarebills are good.  The OG's have a 1 knocker rattle.  'SP' usually means suspending, but I haven't browsed the h20 cranks in a while.

OG just means 'original' as in first generation of something.  They have really expanded the h20 line over the past few years.  I just own a few of the original rattling 1.5 model.

I got a lipless from h20 but it turned on its side when you let it drop so I haven’t used it much since that I did have a rod from them a while back it was a camo 7ft medium fast and it was one of the best shakeyhead rods I’ve ever owned
