yalfto Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Landed my biggest of the year (I think) after a round of quick thunderstorms the other day. Trying out a new rod to replace a casualty of war I broke a few weeks ago. Can I just say I'm a fan of the way the St. Croix Bass-X fights?! Had 2 good runs when it saw the boat. Caught it in tight maybe a foot off shore in less than a foot of water. Actually had to chase it a little toward the end as it buried itself in a huge mat of weeds and I'm only rocking 10lb test. Texas rig green pumpkin senko. Never fails to land fish. Little 58 acre city pond. 12 Quote
