I was looking at a 2008 Triton TR-196 yesterday at a dealership but didn't get a full on look at it ( going back tomorrow for a better view and will take photos will also update the form ) what i want to know are the pros and cons of the boat thats all.

One pro of triton is there is no wood to worry about rotting in the boat. They are all composite.

No different than any other used boat.  Meaning it all depends on how it was cared for.  Biggest concern is the big motor as usual.  Tritons are solid boats, they sit a little lower in the water and if you are going to be running a 19:footer on St Clair, you’ll need to keep a closer eye on the weather than if you were in a 20-21 footer.  Make sure you check out all the switches live wells, bilge pump and gages and give the trailer a good going over.
