Found a Sedona reel on a broken rod while running a couple of weeks back and finally got to tearing into it. After swapping parts in and out with a functional reel, it seems that all this reel needs is a couple of the copper colored main gear shims. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good source for these since Shimano wants to charge $8 shipping on a $1 part for these. Any assistance is appreciated.

but if it's more than 15 mi from your house, the $8 postage is cheaper

Either go a hardware store, or search 0.1mm shims on Amazon. But usually you'll have to buy a whole bunch of them, not just a couple.

Drive by there every Wednesday. I'll stop by and ask. Thanks!
