Ecasa Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I want to fish more and learn from experienced anglers, but I don't have a boat. My knowledge and skills are pretty basic I'd say, but I want to change that. Where do I start? I've tried doing some Google searches and haven't found much. The big clubs in the St. Louis area seem to use "buddy" format tournaments, which I'm assuming is not random draw, the boater knows his co angler. Does anyone know how I can get more involved in the sport? Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted June 12, 2022 Super User Posted June 12, 2022 I would contact the clubs and see how the teams are chosen for each tournament. It seems like they would at least need some random teams to keep the playing field level. Quote
rangerjockey Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Probably the club level would be the place to start. There used to be a few options. Back in the day we had the Central Pro Am but now the team derbies are a partner deal. You could always fish the Ozark division of the BFL's. Quote
