Question on pelican raider.

I just purchased a pelican bass raider 10.  There are two drain plugs on bow side of pontoons. I’m just curious, it is normal for water to get in these?

You’re going to get a little water in the plastic shell every once in a while. Make sure you tip it up with the plugs out  , or the foam inside can become waterlogged and then you’ll have a yard ornament.

Out of about 30 trips on the water, have never got water internally.

Driving down the road in a downpour, some water made it's way in the main seam.

Not really a big deal, just stood the boat up and drain.

 

The one modification that I did immediately was install a floor drain plug at the Stern.

That boat fills up with water it's gonna take an NFL offensive line to tip it to drain. Lol

Bought the drain plug at BPS and used a drill bit like this ( Lowe's ).
