I've got a Dobyn's Fury 705CB for squarebills and medium diving crankbaits, but I really need something for deeper cranks like the 6XD and 10XD. Budget is ~$250.

Thanks!

If you like Dobyns, the 806cb says it is made for the 10XD.

The Dobyns site is listing the Fred Roumbanis 803SB in their blowout section for $139. From what I have read, that Roumbanis 803SB uses the same blank as the 10XD, so should be a good rod for the deep cranks like the 8XD and 10XD.

Just looked and Dobyns still has them in their Blowouts section and that Boom Boom Roumbanis 803SB specifically lists the 10XD in its applications.

Sounds like a deal at $139!

The Dobyns 806CB is a great rod for heavy cranks that are 1.5-2ozs.

7’3 H bps crankin stick 3/8-2oz it’s cheap and works great. The money you saved you can get more crank baits

My first step would be to sell the 10XD’s for something less than 2oz and 6” long. You can reach 20+ feet with less tug of war ?.  As far as rods, I am a fan of the Alpha Angler Mag-Rebound.
