Steve Goldy Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Longtime lurker, just joined today! Been fishing since I was a small child, but got out of it over the last couple of decades as other priorities took over. Have recently renewed my passion for fishing, primarily In southern Ontario and south east Florida (I split my time at both). Mainly a freshwater bass/pike hound, but have started branching out into other species (both freshwater and surf/inshore while in Florida). Primarily use spinning gear, but have also started experimenting with baitcasting (mostly DC reels). I have shamelessly used this amazing forum database (and the knowledgeable users) to great advantage, and must commend many for their incredible insights and experience that they have generously shared with all. At present, I am far from being a worthy contributor, but will do my best to give back to the community that helped me so much during my return to fishing. So HELLO…and, tight lines everyone! 2 Quote

Yes, first year of snowbirding for me…..Love Florida! Funny, I always looked at it as “leaving the snow/skipping winter” rather than “beating the heat”. Guess it depends on what weather you grew up with and became accustomed to.??♂️ Quote
