Super User A-Jay Posted May 21, 2022 Super User Posted May 21, 2022 Armed Forces Day is the proper day to honor all of the men and women currently serving, as well as those who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedom. ☆☆☆☆ What is the difference between Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day & Memorial Day? Veterans Day (previously observed as Armistice Day - the end of World War I), honors those who honorably wore the cloth of our nation at war & peace; and Memorial Day, honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while wearing the cloth of our nation. Super User Deleted account Posted May 21, 2022 Super User Posted May 21, 2022 Thank you to all that serve or have served, but to me honoring our heroes is a 24/7, 365 thing. Most folks will just turn anything else into an excuse to BBQ and get drunk, (not that there is anything wrong with that)... 2 Quote
