What type of boat do you guys recommend for someone with back problems, that wants to fish a couple lakes that are "carry-in only"? It must be lightweight and stable on the water, and easy on the back. The lake I would use it on most requires you to carry/move boat about 50 yards from the lot, down a path. We have an Otter kayak, but my body just can't take it. I was thinking of a one man pontoon(inflatable) but I don't know how durable they are, or the price for a decent one. Would it fit in the back of my mini-van if it was inflated? The van's floor is 48" wide. Or maybe a one-man plastic mini bass boat. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Nick. That's a LOT more than I want to spend. This is going to be my "second" boat, for occasional use. How wide are these when inflated? Does anyone know of any cheaper ones that would be decent? About $300 or less?
