I fished with Baby Brush Hogs last outing and noticed the fish were striking and ripping the wavy twirl tails off(probably Bluegill or Green Sunfish). Anyone have any luck fishing a Brush Hog type bait WITHOUT the wavy twirl tails?

Do the twirl tails really make that much of a difference?

I fish Baby Brush Hogs a lot and I'm pretty sure it's bream getting the tails. The only problem is (can't answer your question) my OCD kicks in when I loose any part of a bait and I change it out :-[ :-[...
