I made the COVID varsity team.

My son got it at a state track meet. He gave it to my daughter a couple days later. My wife and I both tested positive on Thursday. We've all had 2 shots and a booster.

I guess we let our guard down on this latest wave.

Stay healthy my friends.

Sorry to hear that.  I guess anyone can contract it but your shots should make less severe than it could have been.

That's unfortunate but confident y'all will be fine ?

When I'm out and about, that stuff is still in the back of my mind.

Take care

So...how do you wear a mask at a track meet??? If it's gonna get ya ... it's gonna get ya... just lay back and enjoy the time off to tie some more jigs. Make some lemonade out of these lemons.

P.S. Yes I'm still watching.

Hope you all heal fast. I got a buddy who got it from his kids. 6 month later he got vaccinated to take a trip out of the country. Then 4-5 months later caught one of the variants. So natural immunity & vaccinated immunity does not prevent it in some cases. Not much else you can do.

Take it easy and rest.

Wife and I got the second round of the virus and it was nothing. We were tired and we took a lot of naps for a few days and then it was gone.

We have had our shots. Doctor said not to get the booster shots and he seems to be correct.

Here's to a speedy recovery for everyone.

It amazes me that there is still people that hasn’t had it

Agree. I know some folks on round 3. Just a false hope on my part that I was immune to it.

Well, it WAS a good thought, wasn't it? :)

I assume this was an outdoor event? The current version circulating is extremely contagious if it’s spreading outside.

Yes. Matter of fact just recently ... like yesterday, recently ... we had positives on 20K HS athletes and 5K staff members.

Sam if the symptoms are tired and taking naps I've had the virus for several years.

I contracted Covid 2 weeks ago. An irresponsible person came to work sick and received their test results while at work. Shut the whole office down for cleaning…didn’t work.

luckily my symptoms were mild. Headache, fever, dry throat, upset stomach. My wife and son did not get it as I quarantined in another part of the house.

I knew I would get it sooner or later my hope was that it would have been during the winter so I missed no fishing time. Of course the days I were recovering were some of the nicest weather we have had in these parts in a long time.

No worries, we're considerably mild in comparison to those who are/have been hospitalized.

Finally tested negative yesterday.

Glad to her it - Congrats.

The Captain's Covid log has me I'm riding day 12.

Spent most of Sunday in the ER with a massive Migraine & dehydration.

Pumped me full of fluids & meds.

End is not in sight for me just yet.

Soon tough I hope.

Been 10 days for me since I came down with it, but it got no worse than a bad cold, and now I got the 'creeping crud' - but that's been it.

Sorry to hear that buddy. Dehydration was a huge problem for me. The Covid cloud is real!
