Consider installing the new super sharp mower blade AFTER cleaning the bottom of the unit.

Super sharp might be a relative term,

especially compared to the ones I took off.

I mulch and use these . . . .

Xtreme® High Lift Blade for 48-inch Cutting Decks

But I buy them here

I just ordered a set. I noticed on my last cut that it was about time, so I am going to try these out.

These are all I use on the riding unit.

Keep them sharp and they do me right.

Hold a decent edge as well.

The big question is did they numb it before they stitched you up or did you go ah natural? ?

I got a little something injected at the wound site.

And it worked OK.

Which was Good thing too.

Otherwise Nurse Ratchet would have had a moving target . . .

Wow! That's terrible.

I take my mowers to Sammy Nelson in Powhatan County who charges very little to service the engine, sharpen and then put back the mower blades.

Speedy recovery!

At least it didn’t mangle up any fingers! That would’ve sucked for casting. By the looks of things, you shouldn’t even be slowed down much with a cut like that.

What are those stitches? Sufix or Seguar? Maybe 50 lb? ?

Been there, done that. D’oh! The things we do!

Stitched up incision is healing nicely.

And while I appreciate the epidermal repair,

I am not a big fan of the nasty cold/flu I managed to contract.

Apparently my facial covering was insufficient.

I haven't been 'sick' for a couple of decades.

Hope once this mess clears up I can go a couple more.
