I need a new set Super sharp might be a relative term, especially compared to the ones I took off. I mulch and use these . . . . https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/blades/xtreme-high-lift-blade-for-48-inch-cutting-decks/02005017-X.html But I buy them here https://www.ebay.com/itm/265615572964 A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted May 14, 2022 Super User Posted May 14, 2022 I just ordered a set. I noticed on my last cut that it was about time, so I am going to try these out. 2 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted May 14, 2022 Global Moderator Posted May 14, 2022 The big question is did they numb it before they stitched you up or did you go ah natural? ? 1 Quote

I got a little something injected at the wound site. And it worked OK. Which was Good thing too. Otherwise Nurse Ratchet would have had a moving target . . . #squirmy A-Jay 1 2 Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 14, 2022 Super User Posted May 14, 2022 Wow! That's terrible. I take my mowers to Sammy Nelson in Powhatan County who charges very little to service the engine, sharpen and then put back the mower blades. Speedy recovery! 1 Quote
Way north bass guy Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 At least it didn’t mangle up any fingers! That would’ve sucked for casting. By the looks of things, you shouldn’t even be slowed down much with a cut like that. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted May 14, 2022 Super User Posted May 14, 2022 Whoa buddy, not sure how I missed this one. Glad you’re ok and you still can count five digits like @Way north bass guy mentions above. Speedy recovery bud. 1 Quote
Super User GreenPig Posted May 14, 2022 Super User Posted May 14, 2022 And that's how wisdom is gained. Careful A-Jay it's fishing season. 1 Quote

Super User BrianMDTX Posted May 15, 2022 Super User Posted May 15, 2022 What are those stitches? Sufix or Seguar? Maybe 50 lb? ? Been there, done that. D’oh! The things we do! 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 16, 2022 Author Super User Posted May 16, 2022 Stitched up incision is healing nicely. And while I appreciate the epidermal repair, I am not a big fan of the nasty cold/flu I managed to contract. Apparently my facial covering was insufficient. I haven't been 'sick' for a couple of decades. Hope once this mess clears up I can go a couple more. #snotface A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted May 16, 2022 Super User Posted May 16, 2022 Shoulda gone fishing. We tried to tell ya about the joy of letting the yard go 'natural'...just a couple weeks ago ....but....no....someday maybe you'll come around ? 2 3 Quote
