Love mine so far. It's solid and can handle some pretty rough water. I just wish I had more time to get out on it. 

And tell Kristine to stop stealing all my fish. ?

Don't think of it as money spent on a kayak.  Think of it as the money saved on gas and meat!

Never thought about it like that, but I can't argue with that. 

 

I'm content with my Ascend for the time being. But at some point in the future, maybe years down the line, I would like an upgrade to a Hobie.

Except I rarely keep any because I'm too lazy to clean them. And I already have two paddle kayaks. Honestly, I don't want a kayak that's heavy. Got rid of one with a motor for that reason.
