Is a 7’1” MF too light for a 1/2 spinnerbait with a 3.25” paddle tail trailer?

I've weighed very few lures, but one was a 1/2 oz. War Eagle spinnerbait.  Don't remember the model.  It weighed .82 oz.  Add a trailer and I'd have to think you are pushing the limit for that rod although I know St. Croix rods fish a bit heavy.  Don't know how heavy you can go with that rod.  Above my pay scale.
