Weightless Senko. Have better luck with them as a weighted wacky.

Jerkbaits. Just haven’t been able to work them right yet.

Dropshot. Will use when things get tough.

What do you hate to throw, but it works, so you throw it anyway?

For me, drop shots and ned rigs.  They're so slow and boring!  At least with a shaky head I can give it some action, and not be afraid to scare off the fish.  I know you can fish them faster, but by the time I'm grabbing these rigs, I'm pretty much convinced that the fish aren't biting anything that moves, so these are my methods to slow it down to almost a standstill.

I know some people hate throwing crankbaits because they get hung up so easily.  But at least using a plug knocker is doing something!

It is chatterbaits for me. I don't like fishing with those things but I do well in the winter with them.

Gluidebaits, it's been rough man, hooked into my pb on a gamtarel, just for him to shake the hook, then the fin on the gantarel broke, and on another trip I took an s waver and got it caught on submerged wood, went swimming out to my neck in a nasty pond probably infested with brain eating bacteria....

I think it's the rod shaking thing

Colorado blades? Cmon man, you know this!

Baitfish emit low-frequency vibrations. Bass can only hear frequencies below a threshold. At high enough frequencies, sounds are effectively silent. A single colorado blade vibrating softly and slowly is a dinner bell.

I catch em pretty good on a single colorado! I sometimes need certain conditions for them and we already talked about that, but often I don't need conditions to be "perfect". I started fishing those little single colorados because of Bill Murphy's section on spinnerbaits.

The beetle spin is a single colorado!

I didn't hear nothing helpful about single colorados on Youtube!

Anyways, like I've said before, you've got the experience more than I do and I will continue to listen to you for advice but I am nonetheless convinced nobody fishes a single colorado enough.

Lol! Occasionally I get a little excited... maybe it's because tomorrow looks like a good spinnerbait day if I can make it out there.

I'll be getting wet tomorrow for sure. I probably won't be throwing a spinnerbait, I'm probably gonna throw a big swimbait. I haven't been catching many, but I'm getting a couple every time out and most are over 6, so I'll keep doing that while it holds up.

Plopper

I have a singular whopper plopper left because I couldn't sell my other one ?. If you insist; I tied it on. Ain't got spooks.

Not exactly diverse in topwater abilities.

Crank baits. I bank fish ponds mostly so with the grass and the really shallow water near the shore it feels like I spend more time cleaning my hooks than fishing.

I will still throw square bills and shallow cranks but I’ve all but given up on anything deeper than 5 feet.

I hate cranks, but throw them quite a bit because the stupid fish eat them.

Now I'll speak some bassreasource blasphemy...

I absolutely loathe spinnerbaits. I'll use them, but rarely. I used them pretty much exclusively until I was about 20 and a friend taught me the magic of a t-rig. Now, when I'm throwing a spinnerbait it feels like regression. Between that and the monotonous cast and retrieve nature of the presentation, I'm miserable when I'm using them.

Works even better with bacon.

Cannot believe you can bring yourself to put bacon on the hook :) I'm so addicted to the stuff that it would never get out of the boat LOL .

Any type of walking bait . I get about a 25 Per cent landing ratio .

Funny story, today while throwing a whopper plopper, a little bass hit it and knocked it airborne, but didn’t get any hooks on itself ?. Dunno if that’s a common occurrence for some people on here but it made me laugh
