bassnleo Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 First I have the issue with my Tracker and the stringers cracking. I just got that boat back after 2+ months. Now, like I really needed anything else, I lose the prop off my ProCraft.........Yes I said lose my prop. Me and a friend put the boat in today, make a short run, and start fishing. After catching a few smallies we decide to go to another spot close by. I fire up the motor, shift it into gear......nothing. Feels like it didn't shift. I monkey around with the shifter (I have a hot foot) and my bud pulls the cowling. Everythings connected? He tilts the motor up and says "uhh... dude, your prop is gone." Fortunately we were close and could use the TM to get back in. I feel like punching myself in the face over and over again. May have a Tracker and a ProCraft for sale very soon Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 7, 2010 Super User Posted June 7, 2010 Wow, sorry to hear that man. You're having a rough year so far. Hope everything starts getting better for you soon. At least getting a new prop is a lot easier than dealing with Tracker. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. I was pulling into a dock and I put the motor in reverse to slow down and nothing happened the motor just revved. I get the boat stopped with the boat hook wasn't going that fast. I tilted the motor and noticed the prop was gone. I had a spare but not the washer that goes under the nut. I drove for two hours all over Ontario to find that washer. I made sure I got two. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted June 7, 2010 Super User Posted June 7, 2010 Life is often like that; things come at you in bunches. Hang in there. Boat ownership is a fine thing...most of the time. Good luck. Quote
