do you mean digits or actual balancing weight?

cuz i dont think either of them. i kno dobyns himself said his rods aint gonna be the lightest but they balance well...

I don’t understand rod balance.  A rod manufacturer couldn’t possibly know what reel you’re going to use. The reel is the greatest influence IMHO..

Not that I know of - and all my Fury rods (six currently) balance fairly well with the reels I put on them...spinning as well as casting.

More so for spinning, since most folks palm a baitcaster, most or all of the reel's weight is at or near the fulcrum.

I agree with that. It’s like determining F.O.C. when building an arrow. It depends on what weight tip/broadhead you choose. 
 

Maybe I’m inexperienced, but I think many waste too much thought on rod balance lol.
