I sympathize. But 10yo threads... It's been windy as all get up here. I've been out once this year. Winds blowing 20-30 this weekend as well. 2 Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted April 30, 2022 Super User Posted April 30, 2022 It is incredible the amount of old threads that have been opening again. I know this happens every year on forums but this year it is above normal. It has been a long, cold Winter in many Northern states. People are bored so they will keep opening up old threads until they can go fishing again. It is almost May and it is still snowing in many Northern states, let's see when it stops snowing and open water season starts. 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted April 30, 2022 Super User Posted April 30, 2022 More than once I’ve replied to an old thread on here. It’s only after I respond do I realize how old the thread is. I for one am very glad that it’s not sweltering hot and humid here yet. Wouldn’t bother me if I didn’t have to use my AC until the 4th of July. After the hottest summer and fall on record last year combined with the worst drought of my lifetime, I would prefer to never go back down that road again. 1 Quote

Rain here this weekend too. The most recent drought monitor on Thursday shows virtually all of MN as drought free now. And most of ND is drought free except for the very western portion too. It’s that something? We were talking about the worst drought here in 30+ years and with one wet winter/spring it’s already mitigated. For now at least. 1 Quote
