Greetings all, long time reader here, I have learned a lot. I came across a brand of baits called MACH or MACH Baits? on the Dick's website which I've never seen or heard of (cranks, jerkbait, and what appears to be a Whopper Plopper copy) and I'm wondering if anyone knows this brand and/or company, quality, etc. Strangely when you Google it or them nothing comes up and so is this a.....forgot how to use English's only brand or "house brand" I think is the term??

Somehow "Dick's" in my post auto-morphed in to "forgot how to use English's" - ??? A technological mystery.

At the bottom of the product page, DSG lists the brand as Lew's, which would make sense as they are big on the Mach branding. However, I don't see any lures listed on the Lew's website.

That's a penish thing to do....

It's a generational thing but I never cease to be amused the there was a time when people called each other Dicks with a straight face or there was an out door chain that proudly called itself "Dicks".  It'll be a sad day when the last Dick dies.

Never heard of them. Went on their site to check them out. Without ever seeing them in person or fishing them, they get a hard pass from me. $15 for their hard baits, including their lipless. Willing to bet a Red Eyed Shad is a better product at a fraction of the cost. They also have a Whopper Plopper 90 knockoff that's more expensive than the actual River2Sea Whopper Plopper.

Ya - my $6.50 Rattlin Raps produce just fine...why would I pay 2.5x the price?

Those prices are crazy for some off brand. Tho as Aaron_H said, at the bottom of the page it says Lew's. Since when does Lew's.

This this is their Sprayin Shad popping bait. Looks like a knockoff to the River2Sea Bubble Popper. Except this version is $5 more. :lol1: They do come with KVD Triple Grips, so there's that I guess. But there's no dimensions of the product listed anywhere on the site. Never change, Dick's.

Or the Rapala-Arashi Cover Pop....

Ya, there's only so much you can do with a popper, so there's bound to be many similarities...but the Lews prices are way out of wack compared to the other manufacturers.

They are after the "more $ than sense crowd"  ?

Heard this is Noah Pescitelli’s (Kickin Their Bass on YouTube) brand of baits that’s sold exclusively at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

2 for $25 “sale” at DSG for these baits.

Thinking of getting the “Werkbait” I have a friend that works there and gets a 30% discount.
