Will 15lb braid not blow around as much when fishing weightless plastics like senkos?

Worse.  You want some line with some weight to it.  Flouro is good.  Weighted sinking braids in 30+ are also good.  You can also apply thumb pressure to try spool to keep the slack line under control.

Any braid not gonna help in wind, unless you fish close distance and rod tip very close to water level. Even you get a bite you only gonna feel that obvious tab or hit and run other than that good luck.

Just keep your cast lower and rod tip down to reduce loose line sailing. Not a fan of braid.

@WRB is exactly correct about keeping cast trajectory low for big wind, into or across.

The idea is complete the cast before the wind can catch the line.

You can get better distance with the light braid on baitcaster, certainly more line sailing on spinning reel.  Baitcaster mag brake can help here.
