Managed to snap my sons crappie max rod below the last eye. Dont really feel like buying another at the moment (hes 5 and is bound to break it again). Are there sleeves available to reattach them together? I had thought about siding a brass tube over it and shrink wrapping it in place as well. Its a clean break. He was not happy when i told him last night needless to say.

Butt end

Good news because sleeving the butt end will probably make no significant change in the action or power, the repair should be easier and reliable,  and usually can be to some degree "styled in."
