When I was on the boat last time, I had dificualty for under-hand pitch casting with my 802SJR(7'), So I decide to get my second spinning setup, Same G-Loomise Conquest but 782SJR (6'6") and again paired with Shimano Exsence 3000 but this time HG and not CI4+. So my two combos are almost identical. IMG_5508.thumb.JPG.111a2f17e91df5f9b13b5b57b70505a4.JPGIMG_5509.thumb.JPG.4826b1c92afe47d31d780fb537f80995.JPGIMG_5510.thumb.JPG.769a9adc7600937165f4c1660df1e6e8.JPGIMG_5511.thumb.JPG.b82ef8add2ff35747c3ae69f4071b90d.JPGIMG_5514.thumb.JPG.bf9de9205f6b207b310316bbc8ce6472.JPGIMG_5516.thumb.JPG.fee3252d679683a02abd54b8b04aa97e.JPG

I am thinking to spool it with 4lb InvizX all the way, Without any braid backing, Any thoughts?

What line is on the 7 ft ?

Im thinking i would want different line if i had two near identical setups.

Maybe it would give me more versatility?

Nice rig……

I would back it with braid, but that’s me…..I use Tatsu so no need to waste money on line that will never see the light of day

Gorgeous. I’d love to hear your feedback on that rod once you’ve used it for a little bit.

I was just joking with you.  Personally, I think the Stella is overkill to the max and is more geared to saltwater/inshore fishing. The Exsence is a great reel but it can get confusing when you start to look at the US and JDM models.  Is the one you have from the US?

The older Exsence I have(CI4+) is from Japan, This new one is one is from USA. BTW I paired CI4 with new 6'6" rod and new reel with my 7' Conquest.

I did that because the new 2020 Essence is heavier and it will really balance my 7', and The CI4 2018 model is 55 grams lighter and it will balance my 6'6' rod.
