Dynamite.

Buddy and I used M-80s and got some fish that way...that's about as close as I've come to this method of 'fishing'.

For me...it's still the T-Rig. I may have to buckle down and just pound with it to get over this curse.

Ha, I was going to ask if part of a stick was still considered a stick.  As for things that have never worked for me, I've never caught one on a live bluegill....but I've never tried.  Not legal here.

I have not caught anything on the A-Rig. I have tried it a few different times, and it just never gets bit. I have thrown it in 30ft of water around suspended fish, I have used them shallow 7ft or so. Still nothing. Sometimes in my waters, I feel like its just too big. I can get bit on a single swimbait paddle tail, but not the rig with 5 of them.

Jig, chatter, and fluke? Are you guys casting into the water? That just seems crazy to me.

Haven’t tried my jigs or a chatter yet, but the fluke I’ve tried many times. Maybe I’m just not using it in the right applications. It’s possible I don’t have the correct technique down either. I usually fish at a spillway that has moving current so I’m not sure if that’s a good application for a fluke or not. I imagine it’s better with more still water?  I’ve tried flukes in still water too with no luck. I try the twitch twitch pause technique. And I try popping it up and letting it fall. Nothing bites it. I usually have it on a offset hook weightless. I don’t know if adding some kind of belly weight would make the action more enticing to fish or not.

Use a fluke as a chatter trailer, and knock off a two fer. A fluke or rat tail BA is one of my go to trailers.

I thought "CastsInTrees" was your real name?

BTW: My real name is CarolinaRigComesUpEmpty. :)

I've never caught a bass using: Carolina Rig

An old telephone.

Seriously, I can't think of any type of lure that I've used that I never caught a fish on. There are individual lures among those types that haven't produced (yet).

Musky Jitterbug . Bassmaster lies .

I've come to the conclusion that the best way to catch big bass is not to throw monster baits, but rather just fish with normal baits where there are big bass. There are big bass where I fish, but they seem to ignore the big baits. They'll go for the usual stuff.

Never caught a fish on a Hula Popper. I can catch plenty with a Rebel Pop R. Never caught anything on a Ned rig but a shaky head works fine. There are many tricks I haven't tried and some I know I never will try.

It's a niche bait. I was 40-something before I ever caught one on it, but it was a big bass. It needs to be used around weedy cover for best results. Seriously, there are better topwater lures.

Mine is the whopper plopper

I had several trips where I couldn't buy a bite on the WP. I mean probably an entire year. Then one May morning last year I started off and stuck with it all day. I caught a 7.3 and a 5.75 in the same day, in the same spot hours apart. I also got a 6 and a 4 on it last year. Certainly not a numbers bait unless they're just jumping in the boat.

Zara Spook. I've fished one 'til I wore my casting arm out. Many times. I can catch bass with other topwater baits, but nothing on a Spook.

You need to use some "Duff Beer" scent on that plug to catch fish. ?

Spro rats. I bought a couple after a friend highly recommended them and watching an NDyakker video. But to be fair I think I only made about 20 casts with one. The conditions never seemed right last year. Maybe this year

Take it to a weedy pond and swim it around the weed edges.

The other day I was going through my heavy stuff. I have a Musky Jitterbug I have never fished and promised myself I'd fish it this year.

I think it will work for bass as well as toothy critters because I catch a lot of bass while fishing big top water lures.

I had to think about this one quite a bit. I’m going to go with a deep diving crankbait. When I say deep I mean over 10’ down.
I know I have fished with them, but I cannot recall ever catching anything on one.
