Looking for some new recommendations. Drop them below! My current favorites are The Outdoor Burrito (hosted by Brandon Palanuik), and the Serious Angler Podcast.

I like Bass Talk Live since they keep up with professional tournament world and because of Day 4 with Frank Scalish. I also regularly listen to the SmallmouthCrush podcast but for this 'season' he hasn't been solely oriented on smallmouth. Some other good ones which I tune into occasionally are Stray Casts, Mercer, Tackle Talk, Smallie Talk Podcast, and Inside Bassmaster.

i'll for sure check some of those out! SmallmouthCrush is great, my good buddy mike iovino was a guest and talked a ton about his smallie tactics and provided a ton of good information. check out that episode if you haven't!

That's cool! I remember his name but I don't remember what they spoke about specifically. Might have to listen to it again. Judging from your 'favorite lake', I do remember someone getting on there and talking about Candlewood Lake. Was it him?

Also, if you wanted to hear about my neck of the woods, listen to the episode with Jason Gramada. It was a pretty decent one

Only fishing podcast I’ve found that I’ve enjoyed is Southern Waters Fishing. Podcast is still relatively new, very Alabama centered so far but I’d say most of their topics such as fishing current are probably applicable through most of the states in the South. Outside of flat Florida of course.

Their hunting podcast, The Southern Outdoorsmen, is by far my favorite podcast overall.

Guys that host it have some hilarious stories about general shenanigans in the woods/on the water.

I really enjoyed the Bent Podcast. It’s a fishing podcast under the MeatEater media umbrella. I found it to be a really entertaining, enjoyable podcast about general fishing and fishing conservation stuff. They have some recurring segments and bits they do that are hit or miss.

The podcast just ended because the host is leaving MeatEater, but there are 80+ episodes to listen to.

Agreed.  Plus, Travis asks really good questions.  He asks the questions as an angler I want to know the answers to.

I hate hair jigs, ice fishing, marabou, and podcasts that contain any of it. It really makes me want to disassociate Texas from the northern portion of the US. That's how much I hate smallmouth bass fishing talk. Texas does not have them, so why must YOUDZ GUYS talk about them? I just want to hear about green fish.  Remember 6 of your states could fit inside Texas, so it's a very valid point.

Or maybe I'm just naive. I can't imagine the fun of putting deerskin jigs on a line and trying to fish with them. Or fishing in ZERO BELOW conditions. The Minnesota accents are pretty bad too. AYE?!!! Just a little rant. Sorry guys.

How could you even call Texas a state if Texas doesn't have any smallmouths? ?

Not a huge podcast guy, but I do like the Fishing after dark podcast because they are a bunch of random dudes with mics Lol. They don't talk fishing tips or anything but I like to keep up with the youtube fishing world.
