Hey ya'll,

So this semester I've got a coding class as an elective and we are nearing  the deadline of a project. For mine, I decided to create a bass fishing lure selection game, which takes into account a bunch of different variables and attempts to calculate odds of catching fish under a variety of conditions. You are presented with a randomly selected set of weather conditions, then you choose between four lures, and then you select what type of cover you would like to fish. The game will calculate your odds of catching a fish from there. Just a fun little theoretical game, not meant to represent reality of course :). Here's a little preview. Let me know if you'd want to see more.

What should I add? Was thinking of throwing in wind speed and season into the mix.

By the way... what lure are you picking? ?

-Date

-Latitude

-Weather conditions

-Time of day

-Size/depth of body of water

-Forage species

-What would Christie use?

To add:

Boat or bank fishing

Rod power and action (unless the choice of lure automatically decides that)

Where you are fishing at.

Examples: Wood in 4 fow. Rip rap. Docks in 20 fow. Etc etc

Wind is also a big factor.

Here's an idea.

After you build a ton of scenarios have 25 of the top chosen bassresource members play through all the scenarios and then base the answers off a percentage of all their answers combined. That would be really neat.

Have a screen with a bunch of text boxes and check boxes...etc...etc.

Enter water temp. Check if cloudy or sunny, partly cloudy. Types of bass present. Use the current date to determine seasonal pattern. Check Box water: Clear, murky, muddy. Check box type of resevoir: High land (deep), shallow, both...stuff like that.
