Seems solid for the pricing point, I think you will like it!

I haven't fished one but I can say the new version is a way better rod than the old. It feels like a nicer quality rod all around.  The old version felt every other $100 rod out there.

The new one feels very much like the victories. Its a lot lighter now and looks great. Not sure the sensitivity as I have not fished one. Anyone I know and recommended it has nothing bad to say about it though.  I almost wanna say its probably worth picking it up over the mojos and even the premiers until both those rods gets redone.

I have the med light spinning and medium casting versions. I also have the older model medium casting rod as well. They are all great rods.

I do like the looks of the older version better. The newer rods have different guides on the same rod, takes some getting used to from a visual standpoint. The top guide looks like it is missing an insert. Freaked me out when I got it shipped from Tackle warehoue.spacer.png

I’ve got a 6’6” medium action casting rod that’s a couple seasons old. Honestly have not given it a lot of time though. I do agree with @NYWayfarer, the older color scheme is better than the new ones.

I've got a 7' 1" M/F spinning rod that I've used for several months now that I really like. Mostly used it for very light T-rigs and Flukes, does both well. They're much lighter and more sensitive than the older models.

Would the guides be braid friendly? I noticed they are some kind of stainless steel with a couple of normal insert guides.  Was thinking about picking up a heavy for a budget frog/heavier t-rigs and jigs rod.

I've only used braid on mine and had no issues.

I have a MLXF Bass-X. I use 20 lb. Sufix 832 with no issues. It’s my main Ned rig rod. Although I like it for weightless TR with Senkos and Zoom Tricks as well.
