I wasn't paying attention last weekend and ran aground  carrying some pretty good momentum.

I snapped the two tabs off the T-bar (the thing that locks the motor in place on the mount).

I have tried to contact Minn Kota directly, but the line is always busy.

Part No. is 2063605

I guess my real question is: How difficult is it to replace this part?  There are no visible threaded bolts to unscrew; they appear to be pins that must be punched out?

Hopefully someone has some expertise in this area.  I am sure I am not the first person to break these tabs off.

Thanks in advance.

Wayne if you have not gotten through to Minn kota yet you can always try their website and I don't think that part you are thinking about is all that difficult to repair although it will take some time and patience.

I have fixed a few for people but not that particular model so my experience is very limited, one of the models had to have the complete body replaced you could not get that part by it self.

I spoke to them a little while ago.

Apparently, there are just a few pins to punch out and the part is relatively easy to replace.

The part cost me $.67, unfortunately shipping cost me $10.

:;)    If they dont get you coming, they get you going.

I got three of them coming to me now.  Thanks for the reply.
