Hi everybody,

I am a new comer here.

I am looking at a quite versatile bass rod in the 1/4oz -1 oz range in 2 pieces.

I have already identified the Shimano expride 1610m2 but would like to know if someone has already used it and/or if you have other rods to recommend.

Thanks a lot,

Julien

Daiwa Rebellion 6'10 MH-R, it's a moderate fast with good backbone. Rated 1/4-1oz. Haven't fished it yet, but from testing casting it should be good. Hard to find quality 2 piece rods around my  area.

Look through rods at TackleWarehouse.  If 2-piece, it will say so.  Also a lot of JDM rods are 2-piece.  I have an Olympic GraphiteLeader 6'9" MHF casting rod and a 6'7" LF Major Craft Benkei spinning rod (both 2-piece) that I carry in my car's trunk.  Today's 2-piece rods are much better than when I started fishing 68 years ago.  Heck...doesn't matter if they were one or two piece rods, they are all better today.  :D
