Super User roadwarrior Posted March 30, 2022 Super User Posted March 30, 2022 Everything bad is predicted for today. Here in Memphis ETA is high noon. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 30, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 30, 2022 They already closed all the roads in the smoky mtns, with the exception of interstate 40 I guess Quote
Super User gim Posted March 30, 2022 Super User Posted March 30, 2022 Yep its nasty up here too. Rain, sleet, and snow in the same systems moving through. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 30, 2022 Author Super User Posted March 30, 2022 We are just getting school closing announcements. 70 mph+ winds, heavy rain, hail and a high risk for tornadoes. My dog is already getting nerved up. Quote
Jmilburn76 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Ughhh...I swear I think TN and KY have became the new tornado alley. I hate cold weather and snow but no worries of naders. Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Hang in there gents! Stay safe! I'm getting worried...it's been unusually mild here in Eastern Nebraska this winter...only used the snow blower once this winter. Missouri got hammered a few times...and the Dakotas have seen some weather as well. That just means bad weather is approaching...ugh! Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted March 30, 2022 Super User Posted March 30, 2022 North central Mo got hammered last night. Very heavy rain, some hail and winds. Be safe out there. 1 Quote
cyclops2 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Last 12 months are record bad weather for N J . We ARE getting tornados !! Large hail, snow white outs with about 45 car pile ups & deaths from being burned alive. Maybe all those experimental weather control stations by MANY countries MILITARIES is working badly ? Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 30, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 30, 2022 Mother Nature: undefeated champion it’s supposed to be 83 degrees here today, they closed the roads for wind (trees) and fire risk 2 Quote

Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 30, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 30, 2022 There’s a wildlife loose in wear’s valley, they are evacuating and setting up a shelter in pigeon forge Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 30, 2022 Author Super User Posted March 30, 2022 Tornado Watch just issued for western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas and northern Mississippi. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/memphis/38103/weather-radar/351089 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 30, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 30, 2022 I listened to the storms while I was working OT last night 10pm-2am. We just had heavy downpours, lightning, and wind. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted March 30, 2022 BassResource.com Administrator Posted March 30, 2022 Batten down the hatches and secure light objects (garbage cans, pets, children, etc). Fortunately we haven't had any major storms recently. Just below normal temps and record rainfall. Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Its been pouring here all day. If I was to guess we are up to about 2" of rain so far. I havent seen rain like this in a long time. Quote
Super User Koz Posted March 30, 2022 Super User Posted March 30, 2022 I hope everyone in the path remains safe. Sorry to rub it in, but it was 84 here today and I took a quick 20 minute break this afternoon for some fishing on our docks. Caught one. But we do have a wind advisory in effect with gusts expected to be 40+ mph. The wind is starting to move in now. Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted March 30, 2022 Super User Posted March 30, 2022 We've had 40+ MPH winds off and on all day. The heavy rain is supposed to hit us around midnight. At least that is there best guess right now. Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted March 31, 2022 Super User Posted March 31, 2022 We are getting 30 + winds already. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted March 31, 2022 Super User Posted March 31, 2022 ^^^^Sad stuff right there. Wildfires are tough to fight here in the flat lands of Oklahoma, can't imagine what it would be like there. Quote
Jmilburn76 Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Im glad this storm is gone, I just knew we would have a tree come down but thankfully we didn't. We had gusting wind most of the day and not much rain, besides losing power for an hour all is good. Im still going to do a once over to make sure we don't have roof damage. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 31, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 31, 2022 So far , no deaths or missing persons reported. The fire is 5% contained, about 1,000 acres in size. It has burned 3700 acres, damaged 5 fire trucks. Over 100 structures were burned 2 Quote
