I mean, that’s a month backorder.  I get that, didn’t these JUST come out and they are back ordered 6 months?

The point I was making, is what started as a few week backorder has turned into a few months. They keep pushing it back. You'll probably find an Expride in stock elsewhere before TW gets them if you look around.

Because of high demand.

Yes, probably could.  They owe me 20% off though and wanted to make it worth it.

I’ve seen TW push back those dates plenty of times, which is why I was suprised it was pushed so far out to begin with…

for example, another retailer had 2 the other day, and currently says they are expected in at the end of the month.

I would NEVER order anything on backorder from TW. I did ONCE, and I learned my lesson. That being said, it's more than likely not their fault. They get told a date from a manufacturer and they put it on their site. Then they are informed it has changed, so they change it.

I canceled my Expride order with TW, ordered from another site and had it in my hands in 3 days. Not blaming TW or anything since I’ve never had any issues with them. Must’ve had a ton of pre-orders or something

From what I have seen all stores are getting certain sizes and quantities in of certain models at all different times. This is with other brands as well. Its not tackle shops fault by any means.
