It's what you'd get if a Ned rig bred with a Neko rig, interesting. I call it the “reverse weedless Ned Rig” it sounds way better than tiny child rig… 1 Quote
LCG Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Size 1 or 2 EWG hooks, which are hard to find locally, and a pegged 1/16oz bullet weight is my confidence finesse rig. Skipped under trees or docks has been very productive for me and it has caught me a few 5lb bass, so it's not just a small fish bait. Quote

Not a big fan of elaztech with that style hook but something like the X Zone Ned Zone or Zoom Beatdown work very well. Mike you may want to check your stock. I just bought all of the 1/6 oz black and green with 3/0 hooks that you have listed. 1 Quote

What do ya'll think about this? 2 Quote
Super User Bankc Posted April 4, 2022 Super User Posted April 4, 2022 I haven't had any problems with the Z-man Ned heads with the wire guard. I fish a lot of willow weeds with them, and they do a great job of getting out without getting hung up, so long as you ease them through. Hook up ratio seems about the same for me. 1 Quote
EWREX Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 owner offset block head has been great for me when i wan't a "weedless" ned rig presentation 1 Quote
Super User NHBull Posted April 4, 2022 Super User Posted April 4, 2022 Before I I go weedless Neg, I go to the child rig…..just freaking amazing 2 Quote
TriStateBassin106 Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Yup. I throw the zman weedless heads in my lake that has that slimy dead algae on the bottom. I use the heads with the weedguards and the weedless EWGs. I personally prefer the weedguard one better for my situation, I also throw a open hook ned head on the weedlines of hydrilla at one of my ponds I fish.. I use the 1/10oz size and 1/6oz if I'm fishing deeper water. 1 Quote
